CEU Press is pleased to announce that the Library at the University of Leipzig is one of the latest to subscribe to our Opening the Future collective funding programme. One of the world's oldest universities, its alumni includes Robert Schumann, Richard Wagner, Angela Merkel and nine Nobel laureates.

As members subscribing to two packages (the History and the Editor’s Choice Collections), staff and students at Leipzig will get unlimited, perpetual access to 100 eBooks on the history, politics, economics, and social and cultural changes of Central and Eastern Europe.

In return, CEU Press will use the membership fees to fund new open access books, which are made freely available globally.

If you would like to see how your library might similarly enhance your digital collection of eBooks by becoming a member, you can watch a 60 second video and read more about the programme and benefits on the Opening the Future website.
